Thorbjørn Morstad`s artistic sensibility is fondamentaly inspired by the classical and figurative painting approach. Modernity in his themes and subjects bacame more refined in the course of chosen expressions. Moreover, some subjects are not strangers to Morstad`s own orgins. hes com back through his mother to the concentrates in dealing with wide universal subjects such as God, Mother Earth, Peace and so on... Thorbjørn Morstad needs between one and three months in order to create an art work, this is concretised by an annual production of eleven to twelve paintings. His work which has received a very large success and esteem in Norway, is for the first time displayed in France in this exhibiton.
